THE STORY BEHIND THE DESIGNS
Fetter Yard is a reflection of its Holborn neighbourhood – energetic, dynamic and a perfect place for companies to thrive.
Looking to the future was a key part of the brief behind this project as Hobart Partners want to ensure they are offering the market offices that are considering the future of work. In designing this space we aimed to create a destination, a place that people want to travel to, that is less about meeting rooms and more about meeting environments. Desking is still provided but there is a mixture of agile spaces for people to collaborate or carry out quiet working. The design challenges what is expected within an office and puts the heart and soul - the breakout and entertainment space - at the front, so as soon as you enter you are greeted by a vibrant and cultural hub.
For those seeking slightly more conventional space, we have two more traditional but equally beautifully designed spaces on offer. Offices that have more structured desking layouts and meeting rooms but still provide some areas for agile working and large kitchen spaces to bring the team together. The details in these designs draw upon the architecture of Fetter Yard with dark stained timber, brick-style tiled flooring, and brass details.
